About Palks Studio

Palks Studio is an independent studio founded by Anthony, built around a simple approach: start with the actual need before choosing the technical solution.

The studio primarily works on backend development and business system projects, as well as research, documentation and writing.

On the technical side, this approach grew from a simple observation: many businesses accumulate software, Excel spreadsheets and SaaS services to address specific needs. As the same information is entered repeatedly across multiple tools, some processes become more complex than they need to be.

Palks Studio focuses on the approach that best fits the context: improving an existing system, connecting different components, automating a workflow or building a dedicated system when it provides a simpler and more sustainable solution.

The systems and tools presented on this website illustrate this way of working. Every project is assessed according to its context, existing environment and objectives.

Research, Writing and Editorial Projects

Alongside its technical work, Palks Studio also conducts analysis and develops editorial projects, including long-form content and publications that can extend beyond purely technical topics.

This is illustrated in particular by The Mechanics of Power, the first book published by the founder of Palks Studio under the pen name Anthony Harlow, also available in French under the title La Mécanique du Pouvoir.

Deliberate Technical Choices

Technical choices are adapted to the context of each project, with a focus on an architecture that remains understandable, maintainable and able to evolve over time.

When the context allows it, Palks Studio also favors solutions that remain under the client's control and can run on their own infrastructure.
