How to read the data. Electricity is tracked through consumption, generation by source, carbon intensity, and net physical power exchanges with neighboring countries. A positive balance indicates net imports; a negative balance indicates net exports. For gas, the radar shows consumption and the volume stored in France’s underground storage facilities. The latest available dates may differ between datasets. Public data sources: RTE and ODRÉ for electricity, and ODRÉ, Storengy, and Teréga for gas data.
